The Kyani Story

If any if you are similar to me, then you too like to know about the origin of things. I

enjoy knowing how things come about, why they were created, and what benefit can be

reaped from them. Not only does that mean that I’ve seen too many documentaries, but

Ive also learned a lot about some of the everyday products that we use. Now I would like

to take a look into the origins of Kyani, one of the greatest health products of this age.

The odd thing about is that many of the greatest innovations in this world came about

by accident, where the creator somehow stumbled upon something great. Examples

like penicillin and silly putty really affirm that statement. Kyani's story falls into the same

category of an accidental discovery of significant importance.

Kyani is founded by three very successful families from Idaho, the Powells, the Hansons,

and the Taylors. While on vacation in Alaska the Powells came across the Tlingit tribe.

Impressed by their healthy lifestyle they sought the reason of their health. Further

research lead to show that the tribes health came from their diet, more specifically the

wild Alaskan blueberries and wild Alaskan sockeye salmon.

Inspired by the amazing vitality and well-being of this people the Powells desired to try to

spread these amazing foods to the world. Thus Kyani was created.

The word 'Kyani' means strong medicine in the language of the Tlingit, a fitting name

indeed. Kyani’s products are derived from the purest of sources to provide the greatest of

health.
